Hello Earth Angels, Mighty Beings of Light and Galactic Hearts,
In the Darkness lies the Light
What I wish to share with you whether you are conscious of this or not – is that we have all been ready and waiting for this time for eons. I lovingly ask that you open up your hearts and “feel” into what I am about to share with you, in particular the gift from Chiron, The Wounded Healer.
There is another powerful and higher message to be revealed within this newsletter for those open to hear and ready to take another leap in consciousness…just be aware of your body and sense any “triggers” you may feel as you read into all of this.
I am just a messenger to awaken, to heal, or just bring a piece of the jigsaw puzzle to what you already know…if none of it resonates with you it’s ok…just let it go. As with anything offered on Light Messenger, take what you can use, share it with others, and just leave the rest…
The Shift is happening whether we like it or not – it is happening everywhere we look – we only need to see what is going on in the Middle East or other European countries to see that this is true. Sometimes, we can ignore things that are presented to us for various reasons, either because the subject matter does not interest us or we cannot be bothered – the ego will find a hundred and one judgements and excuses to reinforce our resistance or denial.
Yet what I am about to reveal is a dawning awareness…has the Universe/Mother/Father God really saved the best till last? Sometimes, the very thing we are looking for (healing) is the very thing we cannot see. Is something in the heavens pointing to greater and higher Truths? All is about to be revealed…and maybe this Truth will set you free. Are you ready to dance with the stars and planets? If you are, much will now be revealed to you to help you move from Darkness into the Light…
Whatever your interest may be, if any, in astronomy and astrology, we cannot deny the part it is playing in our evolution and the immense contribution by the ancient Egyptians. However, even Sumerians 1000 years earlier had some understanding of the subject.
Astrology has a strong link to ancient mythology which is a method used to identify traits within the human psyche. The constellations themselves are figures which represent individuals who were given places in the sky by Jupiter (Zeus) at the end of their mortal lives.
Ancient astrologers observed the movements of the planets and assigned them godlike features and powers as each planet represented a god or a goddess that ruled certain areas of life. The astrologers of the time advised the rulers and interpreted the pattern of planetary movements as omens or signs for understanding the future – even Hitler during the Second World War had his own personal astrologer and there are many astrologers that are predicting an economic collapse in the USA in 2013.
Whether you view this as celestial propaganda or not, it is my view that perhaps it is time now for us all to acknowledge the cosmic and celestial presence in our lives, and make conscious use of its powerful evolutionary energies for our own personal and planetary healing and illumination.
On the 13th November in the UK, Leicester is celebrating “Diwali”, one of the biggest celebrations outside of India and known as the Festival of Lights. Each day of Diwali has its own stories to tell and one of them is that Bali was allowed to return to Earth once a year to light millions of lamps. This was to dispel the darkness and ignorance, and spread the radiance (light) of love and wisdom.
So as we look to Diwali and the Festival of Lights, is it possible that the Solar Eclipse and the constellations are showing us a Cosmic Festival of Light to dispel the darkness and ignorance that resides within each of us? This month of November we will be blessed by three major alignments – the Solar Eclipse on 13th November, a Pleiadian Alignment on the 19th November and a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, the second of this year on the 28th November. Could it be possible that the Universe is silently speaking to us and has its own story to show us the way from wounding to healing?
The Sun, Moon, stars, zodiacal signs and their ruling planets…all of them are beacons of Light as well as our teachers and messengers. The seeds of transformation are within each of us and by engaging with these great planetary Beings of Light they can bring us a deeper awareness and connectedness to the Universe, as well as helping to trigger insights and activating the Light within us.
Those that attended the City of Light, Circle of Love gathering on the 13th November were treated to an insight of this Cosmic Dance, yet like Vanessa Williams song, I too have saved the best till last…
The significance of the Solar Eclipse and New Moon
What comes to mind as I write this is a book that has been written in 2003 by Eckhart Tolle “Stillness Speaks”. As I observe the planetary alignments that have been happening this year, I see with my heart that the Universe is silently speaking and guiding all of us, showing us the way – if we are listening.
I cannot even begin to start to share how significant this Solar Eclipse is for humanity…so what I share with you here are my insights and perspective. Many of us will be coming into alignment with our destiny through the month of November and the cosmos is helping us. For some, the month of November will also be showing us our deepest fears.
Eclipses mean changes – “good” or “bad”. And a Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. A total Solar Eclipse occurs when viewing it from Earth – the Moon looks larger than the Sun, thereby blocking out all direct sunlight and plunging day into darkness – what a gift this Eclipse is showing us.
We are now in a powerful time of cleansing and the Solar Eclipse, along with a New Moon in Scorpio, marks an ending and a new beginning for us all. This Eclipse also heralds for each of us a healing and harmonisation of the personal and planetary energies of the Feminine and Masculine – all in preparation for the Galactic Alignment on 21st December.
At the Eclipse, the Sun and Moon’s ‘meridian’ lines were aligned over Hawaii Big Island and Maui, whilst the Eclipse shadow itself crossed the South Pacific which ran parallel to the planetary Great Female Dragon (Rainbow Serpent) Line. This November Eclipse is a mirror image of the Annular Eclipse on the 20th May earlier this year. However, that one crossed the Great Male Dragon (Plumed Serpent) Line.
As we near the end of a cosmic and galactic cycle that has been written in the stars to be the unprecedented shift in human consciousness, we are all being called now to rise like a phoenix out of the alchemical flames of transmutation and leave the ashes of the past behind us. Just like a snake, we are shedding our former skins of old human consciousness by shedding away patterns of behaviour and wounds that are no longer serving us so that we can complete our metamorphosis.
Other Cosmic Influences
Eclipses may not rock your boat or be of much interest to you, but it is the significance of it all and symbolic meaning for humanity that could be far reaching. For the astrologers of the mystery schools of Egypt and Greece Eclipses were a stellar Gateway. They knew that an eclipse created a tunnel to the higher realms where they would be able to communicate directly with the star gods and access their sacred wisdom. Even Science has proved that during an Eclipse the electromagnetic fields increase significantly, particularly around sacred sites.
Whilst astrology is a science in itself, in November the Sun is in Scorpio but at night the Pleiades are high in the sky in Taurus. The Pleiadian star system has been the object of affection and respect in mythology across all cultures, also known as the Seven Sisters by indigenous people in North America, Siberia and Australia. It is said that the Pleiades transmit the Light of God into our minds enabling God’s light to descend on Earth.
Mythology can sometimes be a bit contradictory but Atlantis, the ancient Egyptian and Greek civilisations were all projects of the Pleiadians and The Mayans called the Pleiades ‘the granary.’ In the beginning they believed their civilization was created out of maize and the cosmic star mother gave her children the codes of light.
On the 14th November 2012, the solar eclipse created a shadow across the land in Australia – the centreline being directly over Cairns. According to astrologers, this eclipse was exactly conjunct with the fixed star Serpentarius in zodiacal Scorpio. The serpent is one of the most ancient of symbols denoting wisdom used by high initiates in the mystery schools and Gnostic traditions identified the serpent with Jesus.
Ophiuchus – the 13th planet
The constellation Ophiuchus has been known since ancient times and is situated behind the sun between 29th November and 17th December. Although it is a rarely used astrological sign and is not included in most versions of the Zodiac, it is also known as the 13th planet. According to mythology, Ophiuchus was trained by Chiron in the healing and mystical arts. Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is the ruler of this sign.
Ophiuchus is better known as Serpentarius, the “Serpent Holder” and represents Aesclepius the Greek god associated with healing and “father” of medicine. The Rod of Aesclepius is often confused with the staff of the god Hermes which is the caduceus. Yet it is the serpentine healing power that is of interest here along with the vibrational energy that it represents and the number 13 – 13 being a secret number of sacred power.
However, we cannot ignore the ruling planet of Ophiuchus – that being Chiron, the Wounded Healer. Although Chiron is a recent addition to our Solar system it has in my view, far reaching ramifications in our personal and global healing.
Chiron’s Return
In Greek mythology, Chiron was known as the Wounded Healer. I wish when I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis two years ago I had seen the higher purpose of Chiron, the door opener, yet I know all is in Divine order as I had to do the inner work and go within to find the original cause of the wounding myself. Chiron in modern astrology stands for the deep karmic wounds in the subconscious that we have come into this lifetime to heal – so that like Chiron in his search for his own cure, we are then enabled to heal others.
Illness and disease are our greatest teachers and if we get the lesson, the gift will be revealed because it is the wound that contains the gift. Our healing journey from the illness or disease is the process of discovering that gift. By embracing the gift I had been given my wound was healed.
However, I must stress here that there is a big difference between “curing” and “healing”. If you are experiencing an illness or disease it is important to know that even if your illness or disease is incurable, it can still be healed. You are not broken or in need of “fixing” as we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.
Healing is not just about finding a cure for an illness or disease as it goes much deeper than that. I would not wish rheumatoid on anybody, yet it has guided me, revealed to me sacred and ancient wisdom, and enabled me to explore many areas and to express myself in ways that would not have been possible. Rheumatoid has changed me and in healing the wound I now see things differently as my insights have deepened. I had to go on my own inner journey through darkness both personally and collectively in search of my own gold to find the gift of the wound – this is the message that Chiron gifts to each of us.
Dark Night of the Soul
Many “Lightworkers” have turned away or been “put off” by the phrases “Dark Night of the Soul” and “Will you walk into the darkness with me?” assuming that it is all about darkness and negativity, preferring to avoid it and only associate with all things of the Light. This could not be further from the Truth, for it is when we shine the light into that “darkness” of our psyches the gift is revealed. The “Dark Night of the Soul” is our own personal journey from the darkness of our wounded soul into the Light of a higher power. When the gift is found, it teaches us how to be a Wounded Healer and give our gifts to the world.
Whether your core wounding has been presented through a physical illness or mental, emotional trauma and distress – these challenges will change you and have presented themselves to help you evolve and learn about Grace, love and compassion at a deeper level. It is in the “Dark Night of the Soul” the gift will be revealed through the wound itself.
Will you walk into the darkness with me? This is a phrase often written in my newsletters, but it is also an invitation to take you on an inner journey into the depths of your wounded soul. My role is to remind you what you already know and hold the space for you to make the necessary changes in your life without judgement, in a safe, supportive and loving way.
Chiron’s Gift
The gift I found in the illness of rheumatoid is that it gave me the opportunity to recognise the greater awareness it presented me with to move into a new level of consciousness, and what came out of it is the potential to be an even more gifted teacher and healer.
My work for the past ten years as a professional practitioner (and still is) has revolved around the healing of a client’s “emotional baggage” – that is, their mental and emotional wounds from childhood, their Wounded Inner Child. It is these deep, core wounds that we are now being called to be healed.
Through healing my own karmic wound – which was also a deep, psychological ancestral wound (as it is for many that they must heal in order to function well) – it has enabled me to become a healing beacon of Light within my own community and beyond.
The fact that my core wound was a karmic, ancestral wound and Chiron has been asleep for nearly two thousand years is no co-incidence either. Chiron stresses going within to find the answer and then sharing it with others – this I now do through what I offer and will continue to offer throughout this website and the blog.
Transformation of The Wounded One into The Healer and Teacher
Although I live with the life changes that comes with rheumatoid, illness and disease are our greatest teachers. Chiron’s gift to me has enabled me to have a different sense of freedom and a renewed release of spirit – much of which will be shared and offered as we move beyond 2012.
The glyph or symbol of Chiron is both a key and a keyhole – many consider that Chiron provides both the key and the access to our ultimate purpose. My spiritual journey started 13 years ago in 1999 at Whitby, North Yorkshire – there is also no co-incidence that this healing journey of awakening and transformation is now nearing a 13 year cycle of completion for me in 2012. It is an ending yes, but also the beginning of expressing my higher purpose.
We are all Divine beings awakening now to who we really are and we are being shown glimpses of what we are here to do. The full force of the Universe is working with us yet it is up to each of us to do the inner work to realise our new life and place in the world.
Your wounds are my wounds and working through issues can be a complete mystery for some people. This Eclipse heralds for each of us a healing and harmonisation of the personal and planetary energies of the Feminine and Masculine. Whether you suffered at the hands of a narcissistic, or emotionally absent mother or father, it is these core wounds from childhood that are now being called to be healed.
There is no judgement here – healing comes from understanding and love – not blame. For those wanting help with their inner work, my goal (when asked) is to help you understand why you feel the way you do and free you from a painful legacy of distorted love so you can feel better.
My intention was to answer a question placed on the blog and share my own core wound in relation to rheumatoid arthritis. I guess the Divine had other plans for me so hopefully I will post this as a separate subject!
