Since the last Love Letter I have been deeply immersed and engaged in writing a particular chapter for my book. For the past few weeks since the Lion’s Gate I have felt a very disruptive energy coming to the surface.

We are in the closing of a very old chapter. This I feel is a collective energy that needs clearing to close a karmic cycle.

So Love’s healing message from the Black Rose this month is this:

Where did you learn to silence yourself?

Where were you silenced by others?

Your continued silence erases the truth of what really happened

I learnt to silence myself in childhood living in a dysfunctional family. “You’ve just upset your mum” my dad once said. So I learnt to silence and suppress my own feelings to avoid hurting others.

I continued the silence into adulthood, a learned behaviour and got sick.

I hid what I saw and never spoke out. Words never spoken, conflicts went unresolved, the emotions and unacknowledged grief, swallowed and suppressed.

I lived a lifetime with a raging inferno inside of me.

A lifetime of remaining silent took its toll and manifested as illness in my body.

When we remain silent and deny the truth, the stress of holding it all in festers out of view like a cancer until someone brings it into the light.

Where were you silenced by others?

As a scapegoated one I have carried a lifelong fear of being punished for speaking or revealing the truth. As a scapegoat, silence became a survival strategy for me in my dysfunctional family.

In remaining silent after a smear tactic from a toxic person seven years ago, being blocked and not able to speak out after a wrong-doing, I was unable to correct the untruths, lies and misinformation. At the time I let the conflict go.

Silenced and shut down, meant over time the truth would be wiped out. Not quite though. In 2018 a cancer diagnosis changed that. In 2020 the Black Rose Oracle deck was published. A Heart healing journey to heal my own unhealed wound of sibling betrayal.

In the name of Justice,

I am bringing this energy of “remaining silent to erase the truth” into the light

Look at your people pleasing patterns where you remain silent and suppress the truth to keep the peace.

Look at all the places you abandon yourself to meet the needs of another whilst abandoning your own.

Find the places within you where you have betrayed yourself just to feel wanted or have someone in your life.

Look at the events or situations in your life where you remained silent of what happened whilst another “got away” with no accountability.

Perhaps you have found yourself in a situation where you probably intuitively knew something was wrong. Don’t remain silent anymore because in doing so the truth will get erased, either by you or even a toxic person in your life using narcissistic tactics.

Truth is in knowing who you are and most importantly, knowing what you’ve been through.

When you have a story to tell, tell it. Even if they are not ready yet to receive the healing medicine you carry.

Having been burned in the Sacred Holy Fires of the Black Rose, the desire to live and share the story I have never shared with the world is what keeps me writing and moving forwards.

Don’t remain silent because your silence will erase the truth and keep the inferno burning.
